Guild Design + Build NikeKD8 Press Kit
Nike challenged us to launch the KD8 before a marketing campaign was even available. This press kit would be sent directly to influencers in advance of a key event, and would offer a direct and personal experience with the franchise. Inspired by the vibrance of the KD8 lead infrared colorway, I designed a display container that would stand out and complement the product, reflecting Nike's innovative design ethos.  

This striking red color seems to glow, softly visible through a translucent etched portrait of Kevin Durant, representing the passion of the game shining through the athlete himself. Each case was meticulously handcrafted and finished with a white automotive enamel, giving it a luxurious texture and making it a display-worthy item, consistent with the premium quality and design standards of the brand.

As an extension of the concept, I developed additional experience concepts to ship with the case, collaborating with the graphics team to create collectible pins and a shoe selfie mat to add another layer of engagement for the recipients of the press kit. Each individual pair of shoes was commemorated with a custom Polaroid shipped with the kit, numbered to convey the exclusivity of this launch.
